Miranda’s mom, Kristen, chose a vibrant, full-spectrum palette, with primarily solids and tonal fabrics, plus one terrific dark indigo-white batik! I incorporated her batik, added several others for accent: indigo & white batiks, other batiks in greens & blues, and the very pale indigo & white background batik to bring a feeling of peace and calm, in spite of bold colors and quirky, slightly tilted blocks. Binding in 4 bright colors ties it all together!
